A female police officer was on Thursday found brutally murdered in her rental house at Miti Moja, in Eldoret town.
Police reports indicated that the officer identified as Robina Moraa, who was based at Naiberi Police Station, was killed by her boyfriend at her premises in Annex Estate.
Further information highlighted that the law enforcer had suffered multiple stab wounds.
The body of the deceased was moved to Moi Teaching Referral Hospital.
In May this year, an officer attached to Parliament Police Station was discovered dumped at her house in Umoja, Nairobi.
According to DCI officers from Buru Buru, concerns had been raised when the lady, identified as Hellen Kwamboka, failed to report for duty at her post.
The detectives affirmed that Kwamboka had been found dead on her bed with a deep cut on the head.
Analysis of the crime scene highlighted that her killer had left bloodstains all over the house.
An assessment of the deceased’s neck, at the time, indicated signs of being strangled.
DCI detectives alleged that Kwamboka’s boyfriend was a possible suspect since he was the last person to see her alive.
